We are already seeing signs that Episodic Season has started back up AND because y'all are so awesome we are getting more audition notifications than ever. This is all good news - but we are going to need to make some changes to how we handle new audition opportunities / CMAIL communications.
Beginning July 15th we will NO LONGER be forwarding you CMAILs that come in regarding audition opportunities. Instead we will confirm you for the audition and then send you our audition email with all of the information and sides.
YES - WE ARE GOING TO CONFIRM YOUR AUDITION WITH CASTING BEFORE WE NOTIFY YOU OF THE AUDITION.
This is standard operating procedure with many of the agencies we currently work with and we are now going to operate in the same manner for both consistency's sake and because we no longer have the time to wait for your CMAIL confirmation before we send your audition email.
As you all know from your talent reports it takes a tremendous amount of submissions to garner an audition. The expectation moving forward is that this career is your priority and that you will be available for any and all auditions that we obtain for you no excuses.
The one and only exception to this new policy is, if after reading the sides we send, you find the material questionable in some way according to your comfort level (i.e. nudity, violent horror etc...). Of course we NEVER want anyone auditioning for material that makes them uncomfortable and we DO want to hear about this from you if you need us to change that "confirmation" to a "politely decline" due to the material.
