**WELCOME TO A NEW MONTH**. Wonderful to see so many of you at the Cinterra event, looking forward to many more. Let's gear up for a great month and discuss something fun...
Jess and I were at Mt. Wilson yesterday, at the astrological museum they have up there 6,000 ft up and one of the images was of a nebula and the key read "1inch = 56,000,000 miles." This image explained that the image they had captured had enough energy to create 10 of our suns. So that got me thinking, why would we think none of the vastness of the universe has any effect on little ole us. OH WAIT, the ancient Chinese and the Greeks knew it did!
Zodiac says what?
Documents from 3200 BC, which base psychological traits on when you were born in relation to the sun and moon at that time. Wild.....BUT, they always seems to be shockingly accurate. We are made out of a lot of water, and we are but specs of dust in what is most definitely an infinite universe, so, why would we pretend it does not exist? And WHY would we act like we would not be affected by the sun and moon when EVERYDAY we see what power the moon has over such things as say...Ohhh....the ocean! Why would we not make sure we are not only being our BEST Zodiac version but incorporating people in our life that are the rest of the Zodiac we are lacking, like fielding a great baseball team.
“We are born at a given moment, in a given place and, like vintage years of wine, we have the qualities of the year and of the season of which we are born.” – Carl Jung
Example: Here is mine.
ARIES IS A PASSIONATE, MOTIVATED, AND CONFIDENT LEADER WHO BUILDS COMMUNITY WITH THEIR CHEERFUL DISPOSITION AND RELENTLESS DETERMINATION. UNCOMPLICATED AND DIRECT IN THEIR APPROACH, THEY OFTEN GET FRUSTRATED BY EXHAUSTIVE DETAILS AND UNNECESSARY NUANCES.
I love this, mainly because my email signature literally says at the bottom "please pardon any spelling mistakes I'm more of an idea guy." Details, not my thing.
HOW DO WE USE THE ZODIAC TO GET BETTER?
Objectivity:
We all have a hard time being completely objective about ourselves, but astrology presents the personality in a more objective way that can be of great use. To look at your traits not as a good or bad thing but as a more factual baseline. Think of it as Chapter One of your personal operator’s manual. It’ll point out all sorts of useful things about you that may never have occurred to you before.
Understand Others:
Knowing these things about a person, even if all you know is their Sun Sign, can be useful for more than just work. What if we knew what made people really respond to us based on their sign? Would it be a super power? Is your Taurus toddler more likely than most to respond to a treat as a reward? Is your Sagittarius more likely than the average kid to wander off if left unsupervised? What if we could bring this stuff into our world, with casting, your agents and managers? Your coach?
Blind Spots:
Does your sign cause you to have blind spots that perhaps another sign may see? Are you surrounding yourself with enough people of different signs and personality types that can give you information that is not skewed by your sign? Do you have that counter balance in your life somewhere? Or are you out they're freewheeling?
Challenges:
There are certain "types" of people who are prone to behaviors that are not conducive to success. These tendencies don't mean you can't have success but you may need some outside support. If you are of these signs, are you flagging to the right people that you need assistance? If you are a sign of passion, do you have people around you to tell you to calm down, people who take more time with things, who are more cautioned? Every sign has strengths and weakness.
THAT'S IT:
Listen, I don't go to psychics (not that I wouldn't or think there is anything wrong I just haven't) and I'm not an expert on this stuff, BUT, if you were going to build a social or business group from scratch, would it be interesting to build it out to make it the best team for you possible from a support structure and blind spot perspective?
How do I know what I don't know I need to know? If you were a baseball team and had a great centerfielder and you were a great pitcher, but had nobody to call the signs at home, the team would not go very far right.
It may be a fun exercise, examine things in your life based on your sign, and maybe see were things could be improved. Do you and your coach or class structure vibe with your sign? Are there ways you can connect better with you agent if you knew what made them tick a bit better? How can you deepen relationships if you knew what was important to people of a certain type?
If it's good enough for the Ancient Greeks, its good enough for me!
