DIFFICULT SITUATIONS AMPLIFY WHAT IS....
There is a lot to say now-a-days but, it's really no different then what is ALWAYS important and that is, who are you when nobody is watching? Difficult situations just bring out strengths, weakness, and opportunity to change and grow. It really is a time right now that NOBODY is watching (Except Bluetstein/Kennedy LOL) so who are you? What are you doing to be better than you were two months ago, two months from now?
Are you Learning?
Reading?
Writing?
Baking?
Running, Walking, Yoga'ing, Training with those rubber bands with Kevin Caliber Thomsen on the box?
Listening to "Brentfast" w/ Brent Pope ?
Learning Monologues?
Fixing Your Materials?
Researching Casting Directors, Directors, Producers?
Reflecting on what you could do better next time you get an opportunity?
Connecting with your reps?
Researching Reps?
Looking up filmmakers?
Creating ways to connect with casting?
Not waiting to the last min to do the monologue challenges?
Waking up early?
1 MILLION WAYS YOU CAN CRUSH THE DAY EVERYDAY!
There is TIME right now to do what they're usually is not time to do.
TIME.
The one thing we can't buy, or get back or change.
So what are we doing with it?
DISASTERS & CRISIS BRING OUT THE BEST!
There is temptation to say that these types of situations bring out the worst in people. "People are egotistical, selfish" etc... etc... etc... BUT, to the contrary, science and sociologists have actually found that times of adversity bring solidarity to our society, just as they do to the individual people in the society who grow through the adversity.
We could very well come out of this thing a lot better then we went into it.
