A Thousand Tomorrows had already established itself as a powerful title before making it to the television screen. The series is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by author Karen Kingsbury. Aside from Ford and Reid, the cast of A Thousand Tomorrows also features Kate Easton (When They See Us), K.C.
