After years of anticipation, the most-funded horror film on Kickstarter is finally headed to theaters nationwide later this year. It’s not every day that a YouTube film critic makes his dreams a reality, but that was the case for Chris Stuckmann, who wrote and directed an original horror thriller that received positive reviews during a brief festival run in 2024. The cast of Shelby Oaks features Camille Sullivan (Shoresy) and Sarah Durn (Renfield) alongside Brendan Sexton III, Michael Beach, Robin Bartlett, Keith David, and Emily Bennett.
